we wanted something sexy & comfortable; not sure if i succeeded; i’ll try again.
i boxed the corners via the cut method:
so mom asked me to make her a little wallet for her wrist for when she walks. one to tuck tissues & cough drops into. i designed this one & had to frakenstein it, (loved the various fabric choices & didnt want to lose them.)…
yes, the work is crappy. but it sparked ideas on how to improve, and i think thats my next new obsession. i’d like one for myself for the grocery store list, & make a better one for grandma.
i’m also working on the car storage bag; knitting the outside & lining the inside with fabric.
the other side, which features another pocket. love it.
april, 2013. the advent of loss of nate.
stayed up late to finish it, turned out to be too small for use. eh.
it hurt me, but i did it plain, with no embroidery of initials or nuffin.
i’ve been obsessed with sewing lately, specifically bags. been making a few noodlehead zipper bags which came out wonderful!
and then made some fishing stuff. a cool ass rod bag for nate, with one exposed zipper pocket on the outside; large 3d pocket for his tackle. another smaller pocket with red zip for whatever. a cool strap so he can carry across his chest. I love it.
fishing again in april, 2013.
nothing caught, but it was good to get out.
